Welcome to the Rugby Clubs section: Berkshire County RFU website

RFU Safeguarding Policy Review: Safeguarding your club - the RFU Welfare Policy is currently under a complete review.  This also includes a range of the other smaller policies, for example, the Tour Policy. Some CB Safeguarding Managers and Club Safeguarding Officers have been involved in the consultation process. The target re-launch date is May 2010, although it may be sooner, and it will be then known as the RFU Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy.
Club Safeguarding Policy Template – the RFU have produced a new policy template to make developing your own club policy much easier. All clubs must have their own policy especially if they are being assessed or re-assessed for Seal of Approval. The document can be downloaded from the policies page on RUSafe, please go to the following link
New Club Safeguarding Officers (CSOs) - if clubs are changing their CSOs this needs to be updated on RugbyFirst. Your club webmaster has to move the role from the old CSO to the new CSO, this will then mean that we can easily add them to the RUSafe membership list and communications can start going to the new officer.
