Jon Dance has kindly agreed to provide a regular update on news and his views of what is going on at Twickenham in his capacity of Berkshire's R.F.U Representative. Here is a brief resumé of Jon's background and contribution to the game:
Jonathan (Jon) Dance is a solicitor and former director and group secretary of Calor Group plc.
Berkshire RFU: currently Berkshire's RFU Representative and Berkshire RFU Disciplinary Chairman who has been on the Berkshire Committee since 1977. was Treasurer 1982-92, President 92-94 and Team Manager in 1995.
Club: currently Bracknell President (and VP of several other Berkshire Clubs) having previously been Player Secretary and Chairman. Jon played his junior rugby at Bracknell before injury forced him to retire.
RFU: Elected 1994, is currently serving on the Governance Committee, Chairman of Ticket Sub Committee, on the Management Board and RWC 2015 Working Group and is the International Rugby Board Representative.
IRB: Joined the IRB Council in 2005 where he represents England along with Martyn Thomas - Bill Beaumont is currently the Vice Chairman. The IRB Council is 28 strong.
