RFU Information, February 2009: The RFU has published the new regulations to effect the reduced size of the Level 2 League and the increase in the number of teams in Levels 3 to 7 inclusive. If you need any assistance, please contact Jon Dance who wrote the regulations! Injured Players Foundation: The RFU have launched the Injured Players Foundation on www.rfuipf.org.uk. In their press release they state that the risk of suffering catastrophic injury while playing rugby union in England is 0.8 per 100,000 people par annum and lower than other sports globally in the following order: American football (1.0 per 100,000 people per annum), swimmimg (1.8), rugby league (2.0), skiing (2.5), ice hockey (4.0), gymnastics (8.2) and horseriding (29.7).
