One White, One Green

A double celebration for Berkshire County RFU in the recent England Counties U18s v Ireland U18s test series. Firstly, Benjamin Atkins from Bracknell RFC was selected to start for England as their blindside flanker in the two test match series that took place in Dublin, but secondly Arron O’Sullivan from Tadley RFC was selected as Ireland's starting Fullback.

The England Counties U18s squad flew out to Ireland for a week, which was made up of training, team building, outreach programme working with handicapped adults and introducing them to rugby. Plus an official function at the Aviva Stadium and the two test match series.

Both tests were fought bravely and both our Berkshire boys did us proud, in fact in the first test Arron was Man of the Match and managed a brace of tries. Ireland won both games, but left it late in the second game to get the win, all played as you would have expected - with huge passion and great respect.

Well done to both boys for winning their first caps.
