Thames FixEx is sponsored by Berkshire County RFU and has been developed in partnership with SportFocus, the leading supplier of sports management solutions. SportFocus’s clients include Badminton England, The Rugby Football League, England Squash and England Netball. Berkshire County RFU has developed this service in response to requests from rugby clubs in the region as part of its role of supporting the development of rugby playing opportunities in the area. We are grateful for the support of Sport England who has awarded a grant towards this project and other exciting online initiatives. Thames FixEx aims to assist local rugby clubs arrange ad-hoc fixtures and tournaments in the Thames Valley region. There is a section called Find a Member Club which lists the rugby clubs that have been invited to participate in this service. Thames FixEx goes live on 1st January 2010 and can be found by clicking on the Thames FixEx logos that can be found around the Berkshire County RFU website, www.berksrfu.com If a club is interested in accepting a fixture or enter a tournament from the list of Fixtures Required, click on the date and contact the relevant fixtures secretary by email or telephone to discuss. If the fixture/ tournament entry is agreed, the host fixture secretary will then amend the Notes section to confirm acceptance. You will also be supplied with a simple User Guide to get you started. The Thames FixEx service for fixtures in the January to April 2010 period is FREE.
