For the 2010/11 rugby season we have extended our range of school competitions for boys and girls tailored to the needs of the schools in Berkshire after the very successful 2008/9 and 2009/10 seasons performance of the revitalised Berkshire Schools Union.
There are U13s, U14s, U15s and U18s Berkshire Schools Trophies for boys. In the U15s and U18s competitions, entry is restricted to those schools not participating in the Daily Mail Cup at those age groups.
In addition, for the girls there is an U15s and an U18s Festival and also an Under 12 (Year 7) Tag+ Festival which proved extremely popular as a stepping stone into contact rugby.
The new initiatives for this season are an Under 13 (Year 8) Tag+ Girls Festival
and a Boys U14s Sevens Festival.
