National U17s Competition

This starts on Sunday 4th March 2012 and the 12 OBB sides will come from the six sides in Division 1 and the top three from each of the Division 2s. We have to decide which teams go into the Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield by 20th February 2012.

Play-offs on Sunday 19th February, home and away have been decided on a toss of the coin.

Sanjay has to check all 32 squad lists against RugbyFirst prior to the competition starting.

Referees

Clubs are reminded of  Rule 10 regarding Referees, especially regarding their independence and communicating with the opposition prior to the match.

OBB U17s. Windsor U17s have withdrawn from Division 1 and all their results have been expunged from the tables. Cheltenham U17s have withdrawn fron Division 2 Red and all their results have been expunged from the tables.

OBB Colts. Chinnor were unable to honour their fixture with Amersham & Chiltern Colts A team on 18th December. In spite of Chinnor wanting to re-arrange, A&C are unable to offer any dates before the end of the season due to the fact that their players are encouraged to play senior rugby post-Xmas when not playing their remaining OBB Colts fixtures. The League organisers have therefore had to award the points to A&C as per the rules.

If teams enter OBB, the League organisers and opposition teams would expect all teams to commit to completing their fixtures and to make every endeavour to re-arrange fixtures that are postponed for whatever reason; player availability, weather etc.

The 2011/12 OBB and BYL League Season
On the left hand menus you can find the Fixtures, Results and Tables for both the four Berkshire Youth League Age Groups (now all with two divisions) and the OBB U17s and Colts Leagues.  You will also find the BYL and OBB Rules and Regulations and information on the National U17s and National Colts Cup administered by the RFU and East Midlands RFU respectively.

By clicking on the team name you can se the club details with directions, the team contacts and club officials. Please advise me if any of this incorrect or other contacts should be added. It is recommended that at least two contacts are shown for each team and that email addresses and telephone numbers are included.

If you are considering moving fixtures, please ensure you adhere to the Berkshire Youth Structured Season. The easiest way for Berkshire clubs is to look at the age group programmes in the County Youth sections where all activity is shown. Please advise Janette and myself of any changes in advance.

In all correspondence can you please state the club, team and division you are representing. When both teams email results, we need the full breakdown of each score e.g. 24 (4T, 2C) v 9 (3P). If your team is involved in either the Nat U17s and Nat Colts Cups, please ensure you read the regulations and register your players on RugbyFirst by the dates demanded.
