This week England Women U18 announced their squad for the 2022 season.
Huge congratulations to Alex Wilkinson who has been selected after several weeks rugby assessment camps.
Alex her rugby journey at Abbey Rugby Club as a mini before moving over to play her youth rugby for many years at Reading RFC before recently returning as part of the senior squad at Reading Abbey Rugby Club Women’s side.
She has been selected at scrum half for England but also plays at centre for Reading Abbey Ladies RFC. She has dual registration and is the only member of the Wasps academy to be selected and regular plays for Reading Abbey Ladies.
There will be some exciting games coming up in February and April which will be invaluable for their development and learning, and currently show the potential to progress up the international pathway for U20 and future Elite Player Squad (EPS) and full Red Roses honours.
