Berkshire RFU Trust Fund

Operating independently from the County Executive Committee, the purpose of the Trust Fund is to assist member Clubs with loans for capital projects.

The Trust Fund was founded on Nov 4th 1980 by Berkshire RFU, and many of our Clubs have taken advantage of the funding to enhance their facilities.

Application is a relatively straightforward process. The size and term of any loan is negotiable up to a maximum of £50,000 repayable over a period of up to 5 years. Interest is charged, which enables the fund to grow.

The trustees of the Berkshire RFU Trust Fund are:

Mr. Alan Gunner

Mr. Grant Notman

Mr. David McAteer

Mr. Paul Lee

Applications to the trust are welcomed from all member clubs and the procedure for this can be found via the link below:

Grant Finder

Navigating the world of grants can be a bit of a headache, especially as they regularly change in terms of available funds, deadlines, criteria and application processes. To save you time, we’ve compiled some of the main rugby club funders to consider and have provided access to the RFU Grant Finder, which allows you to search through thousands of grants that could help your club. It is important to put your club in the best position possible to be successful when you apply for funding.
