It was decided in December 2007 that Berkshire should reformulate the Berkshire Schools committee and also elect a Representative to sit on the English Schools Rugby Football Union (ESRFU). Since that date, the Berkshire Schools Union (BSU) has made a real difference in the school rugby opportunities available to all students from Year 3 upwards in both state and independent schools across the county. These opportunities are for both boys and girls.
The BSU Committee is headed by Richard Pryor (London Irish ACE Manager) and a great deal of people within the large Reading Schools League who manage the Schools competition over and above the Berkshire Schools Cup.
