BERKSHIRE RFU Girls U18s IS OPEN TO ALL PLAYERS WHO PLAY THEIR CLUB OR SCHOOL/COLLEGE RUGBY IN THE COUNTY OR WHO LIVE OR WERE BORN IN THE COUNTY.
U18 Girls CB Rugby is played as full 15s format against teams from neighbouring counties such as Buckinghamshire, Dorset & Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Middlesex and/or Kent. Match days will each comprise of a squad of 23 players. The half-game rule will apply allowing for all girls to get adequate playing time.
Girls from Berkshire U18s squad who have shown the skills and aptitude to develop further along the Player Pathway will be nominated to be assessed for the RFU Centre of Excellence Programme for the following season. This is a national RFU Programme for developing U18 players in England which is run in partnership with the Premier 15s teams – for Berkshire, our Centre of Excellence Partner is WASPS.
