Berkshire County RFU is the smallest RFU Constituent Body (CB) in the country with thirteen voting clubs across the county compared to many counties who have over 100 voting clubs.
However, critically Berkshire has more than 2000 active participants every weekend across the county including Mens, women’s, Youth (Boys and Girls) and Minis (5-10) playing rugby.
There are even rugby groups to support toddlers from the age of 18 months through to aged 5 .
Mixed Ability, Wheelchair, IGR, Touch Rugby, Walking Rugby are all variations of the game to ensure that whatever you interest or age there Is a club and game for you.

Berkshire club sides have been existence in the county as early as the 1890s with Reading Rugby Club being the first club in 1898 and were formed originally as ‘Berkshire Wanderers”.
