Berkshire RFU offer support to all clubs with their facility needs. The County Facilities Chair working closely with our RFU Facility Development Manager, can offer guidance, support and share best practice with all types of projects.
Its good practice for all clubs to have a short, medium and long term vision for their facilities which can be valuable in attracting the support of the club members. If they can see how the management of the club sees their facilities developing over time. Fundraising from members is then known to be more focused and successful.
There will always be instances where issues arise that are unexpected. Clubs are encouraged to reach out to the County team for help and support if the unexpected happens to you.
The RFU is committed to raising the standard of facilities at sustainable community rugby clubs around England, increasing the opportunities to access quality playing conditions for both new and existing players
