Two age group teams were in action this weekend.
BERKSHIRE U20
The Berkshire U20 men took the long journey down to Cornwall and in a wet, windy, muddy pitch the Cornishmen were in their prime. Cornwall RFU were able to put on a real forward dominant display to starve the Berkshire team of ball with a convincing 42-7 win.
Berkshire U20’s now go into their final game of the pools stage needing to beat Devon RFU who drew with Gloucestershire RFU to avoid the drop to Division Two next season.
BERKSHIRE GIRLS U18
The Berkshire Girls U18 we in action against Buckinghamshire Girls U18 at the weekend.
Despite being on top at halftime but with the focus on development and gametime the complete Berkshire bench was which gave a number of girls new to the county some invaluable experience and enabled Bucks to get back on top, pull away to win 48-24.
Next up for the Berkshire team will be at Oxfordshire RFU on 8th March 2020
