Reading Abbey RFC have announce this week the appointment of Gareth Brown as the new Director of Rugby.
Gareth is not new to Reading Abbey RFC as he was a player and skipper for both Abbey RFC and Berkshire RFU back in the late 80s, early 90s.(3rd from right, front row).
Gareth has never really been out of rugby and has vast experience as a player and coach as well as having many friends and contacts within the rugby world. Besides being able to bring his knowledge & experience to Abbey Gareth has brilliant people skills and bucket loads of ideas and enthusiasm.
Gareth will oversee all rugby at Reading Abbey RFC and will be working with all sections of the club.
All clubs across Berkshire including the Berkshire RFU wish him well in his new role.
