It’s getting to that time of year where we start to build our senior women’s county squad,
This year we will be holding open trials for the senior women’s squad,
The Berkshire U18 girls trials were recently held and the format worked so well and was a great success so the Berkshire Women’s trials will follow the same format.
Eligibility
Berkshire RFU Women’s Rugby is open to all players who play their Club, College or University rugby in the county
The player was born in the county
OR
The player has completed not less than 6 months Residence within the County concerned in the preceding 12 months;
OR
The player has played or been selected in a match day squad for a County in a previous County Competition
OR
The player is an Effectively Registered Player of a Club allocated to the County on the date of the match
OR
the player has been selected in a County U18s girls match day squad and who was qualified to play for that County under the Regulations then in effect. Any such player shall remain eligible to play for that County until such time as the player qualifies for and plays for another County in any of the County Championship Competitions

We are delighted to announce the below coaches who will be taking us through the 2022 county season,

2022 Open Trials.
Date – 11th February
Location – Abbey RFC
Time – 6:30–9pm
- Registration and bib collection 6:30pm – 7pm – individual warm up/stretching by all players
- 7pm – 7:15 Full squad warm up with Coaches.
- 7:15 – 7.45 Positional skills assessment
- 7.45 – 8 Get together with your ‘team and team manager/coach’ and prepare for matches
- 8 – 9 Matches
The session will involve units & positional splits, game based situations & short competitive games.
