The history magicians have been trolling the archives and have found that yet another piece of history could be made on Saturday as if Berkshire Men manage to win the Bill Beaumont Division 3 title.
Colin Thomson could become the only player to have represented Berkshire RFU in an U20 and senior squad county championship final.
Colin was part of the Berkshire RFU U20 team which won the U20 Division 1 Cup at Twickenham in 2013 together with current Rams players Jack Rositier and Ben Henderson.
This weekend he will represent Berkshire in the Final at Richmond 9 years since he last represented Berkshire and the first time as a senior.
Having played for Windsor Rugby through his youth days representing Berkshire from U13 – U20 – He had a stint at South African Premier club Northwood Crusaders in Durban before returning to play at RAMS for the past few years. Colin has made 12 appearances for Rams this season, (starting in 9 and 3 substitutions).
