Reading Girls U18 will this weekend (Sun 12th Jan) take on Dings Crusaders Girls U18s in the quarter finals of the SW Area U18 Cup after beating Cobham 34-0 in their last pool match to top their group having conceded 5 points. They remain on course to equal or beat last years achievement of making it to the national semi finals before being knocked out by Pulborough.
The Reading Girls U18 have several girls who have progressed via Berkshire County representative teams to the Tyrell Premiership centres of excellence. They currently have six (6) at Wasps, two (2) at Harlequins, one (1) at Bristol and three (3) at Richmond where one of the squad recently signed for full contract for the Ladies team after being selected for England Women U18s Talent Development Group.
They remain on track to play the only team to beat them in a friendly this season and who they lost to in the National Semi final (South).
