Berkshire RFU is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Bowers as the new Women’s Head Coach.
Sam brings a deep connection to local rugby, having played for Reading RFC from the mini-rugby level through to the 1st XV. His coaching journey is equally impressive, with extensive experience developing talent across the U13 to U18 age groups at both club and county levels.
Currently an assistant coach for the Reading Kites, Sam is completing his RFU England Rugby Advanced Coaching Award (Level 3).
Outside of club rugby, he manages his own coaching company and teaches at John Hampden Grammar School.
We are excited to welcome Sam to the team and wish him every success in his new role.
